Do PulseWave lines or icons repaint?

No. All levels and confirmations are fixed once their originating candle closes.

Why did a "strong" level disappear overnight?

Every level has a lifespan. If price ignores it for Max Age Weak/Strong bars, it is pruned to keep the chart clean. Increase those values if you trade slower timeframes.

The chart feels cluttered—how can I simplify it?

Reduce Max Levels per Side or disable lesser‑used icons (e.g. Doji, EMA crosses). You can also hide the indicator in Drawing‑Toolbar mode and toggle it on only when needed.

What’s a textbook "bounce" trade using PulseWave?

Timeframe: 5‑minute BTCUSD Preset: Scalping Scenario: Price taps a thick green support band created earlier in the session. Confluence: RSI bull divergence and Volume‑Spike diamond appear on the same candle. Execution: Enter long inside the band; stop below the band’s lower edge; first target = nearest red band.

How do I trade breakouts?

Wait for price to close above a strong resistance band with a Volume‑Spike diamond. The next candle’s retest of the band (now support) plus a bullish engulfing triangle forms a high‑probability continuation entry.

Can I fade false breaks?

Yes—classic setup: • Candle closes above resistance without a Volume Spike. • Next candle immediately drops back inside and prints a bearish engulfing ▼ triangle. • Short with stop a few ticks above the failed high; aim for the opposite support band.

How do I combine higher‑timeframe bias?

Keep the Daily PulseWave on a hidden pane. Trade only long setups on intraday charts when the Daily close is above a thick Daily support; only shorts when below Daily resistance.

Any tips for trend‑following swings?

Enable the EMA Cross icon. Take entries only when the Short EMA is already above the Long EMA (for longs) and price bounces from a strong green band on the 4‑hour chart.

Paramater Tuning

My forex pair is very quiet at Asia open—signals are scarce.

Lower Pivot Length by 1‑2 and cut Cluster ATR Factor by 20–30 %. This tightens clustering and speeds detection.

Crypto overnight gets noisy—too many weak levels.

Increase Min Touches for Strong to 4 and raise ATR Length to 21. Weak bands will prune faster, leaving only zones that truly matter.

Can I use PulseWave inside TradingView alerts?

Yes. Create a "setup" alert on any plotted icon. Example: choose Bull Div plot → condition = Any alert() → message = "PulseWave Bull Div on {{ticker}} @ {{close}}".

Does it work on exotic chart types (Renko, Range, Heikin‑Ashi)?

Yes, but calibrate Cluster ATR Factor to brick size. For static‑range charts you may prefer an ATR Factor of 0.3–0.4.

Can I run multiple copies (e.g., one for Daily levels, one for 15‑minute)?

Absolutely. Set one instance to Swing, another to Scalping and color levels differently.
